Riva del Garda, May 3, 2025 – The highlight event of the FSA Bike Festival in Riva del Garda once again delivered a world-class spectacle: In the UCI C1 race on the Ronda Extrema (82.77 km, 3,434 m elevation), more than 130 top international professionals delivered high-intensity performances.
Andrea Siffredi (ITA) and Claudia Peretti (ITA) claimed victory on the toughest course of the weekend. "I'm incredibly happy – this was such an emotional win! There were some tough moments, so it was hard to stay focused. But when I managed to catch up with the lead group and saw that only two riders were ahead, I knew: I can do this!" said Siffredi just after the race. Peretti, too, was exhausted but thrilled with this year’s marathon: "The final hour of the race was brutal – this was my fifth time competing, and I achieved my best result so far. Having this marathon take place as part of the FSA Bike Festival with so many spectators – that’s the best feeling in the world."
The Ronda Grande (59.56 km, 2,406 m elevation) also saw fierce competition. Victory went to Uwe Hochenwarter (AUT) and Sarah Marquardt (GER), who prevailed on the challenging course with impressive stamina and a smart strategy.
On the Ronda Piccola (30.67 km, 1,065 m elevation) – which this year featured a partially redesigned, especially flowy route – Lorenz Pfleger (GER) and Malena Seer (AUT) emerged as winners. The short but intense loop was especially popular among hobby cyclists, offering a genuine race atmosphere.

eBike Marathon Makes Its Debut
Unlike the classic marathon, this new format focused not on time, but on experience. Riders set out on a 48-kilometer route with 1,700 meters of elevation – without the pressure of competition – and were rewarded with breathtaking views, relaxed climbs, and a strong sense of freedom. All in line with this year’s festival motto: “Riding Freedom.”
The third day of the festival wraps up as powerfully as it began: the evening kicks off with the Open Night in the Expo Area, followed by the legendary Bike Festival Party at Spiaggia degli Olivi – with beats, drinks, and a spectacular lakeside setting. On Sunday, the spotlight shifts to the cyclists of tomorrow. At the Scott Junior Trophy, children can show off their skills, gain first racing experience, and proudly take home a well-earned finisher medal – where everyone is a winner.
