UCI HERO Marathon World Cup
THE WORLD CUP COMES TO RIVA DEL GARDA
In 2027, the Bike Marathon at Bike Festival Riva del Garda joins the HERO UCI Cross-country Marathon World Cup. The Ronda Extrema becomes the battleground for the opening round of the season, bringing the biggest names in international marathon MTB to the trails of Garda Trentino.
The HERO UCI Cross-country Marathon World Cup is the UCI international series dedicated to mountain bike marathon: an endurance discipline where stamina, technique and strategy come together over long distances, major elevation gains and technical terrain. Launched in 2025 through a collaboration between the UCI and HERO Series, the World Cup brings together some of the most important marathon events, with both Elite athletes and amateur riders at the start.
In Riva del Garda, the challenge meets one of the Bike Festival’s most iconic competitions. The Ronda Extrema, the most demanding Bike Marathon route, will host the HERO UCI competition, while the Bike Marathon will continue to welcome professionals and amateurs across its different routes. An event that brings top-level international racing together with the Festival atmosphere, surrounded by the trails, climbs and landscapes of Garda Trentino.
