That’s why the UCI launched the Climate Action Charter—a set of measures aimed at making cycling and its events more environmentally and socially sustainable.
Bike Festival has already been moving in that direction—but now, we’re going a step further: We’re adopting the UCI’s recommended sustainability standards for large-scale events. We’re measuring our emissions, using local hydro power, and working closely with regional partners. And this is just the beginning.
